L'Occitane Frisson de Verveine Fresh Shower Gel & Ice Gel

For today's extremely hot weather I have a cool post to share with you, featuring two refreshing and (relatively) new products from the Frisson de Verveine line by L'Occitane. While this product range was actually launched globally last summer, despite it being fashionably late, it's most very welcome at these hot summer days. The Frisson de Verveine range contains invigorating and soothing organic verbena from Provence and a natural spring water extract, and if you are well familiar with the excellent classic Verbena range by L'Occitane, then this is probably something you'd like to check out. Keep on reading to find more about these refreshing products that I got my hands on and what were my thoughts on them.

Frisson de Verveine Fresh Shower Gel*

This shower gel gently cleanses the skin and wraps it in a fresh lemony scent. The fragrance of Frisson de Verveine line is described as unisex, so you and your other half or event the entire family could share these freshly pampering products, although you might want to keep it all to yourself.

It comes in a beautifully designed plastic bottle which is identified with the Verbena range, the product itself has a light green tint that matches the fresh lemony scent and it contains tiny air bobbles that are supposedly meant to infuse the skin with waves of freshness.

This shower gel is indeed very refreshing and pampering, especially on hot days like today, and while the Frisson de Verveine scent is actually great, I feel that the classic Verbena scent is my all time favorite from all the products I've tried so far.

החוויה אכן מפנקת ומרעננת, במיוחד בימים חמים כמו היום, והניחוח הוורבנה פריסון מעולה אם כי נראה שניחוח הוורבנה הקלאסי עדיין נשאר האהוב עלי מבין כל מוצרי L'Occitane שניסיתי עד כה.

Frisson de Verveine Ice Gel for Legs and Feet*

The Ice Gel is probably the most innovative and interesting body care products I've recently came across. I think it's safe to say that most of us are familiar with the metal roller ball from eye care products, and this is certainly the first time I see it incorporated in a different type of product.

The squeezable tube comes with a uniquely refreshing gel, formulated with a combination of cypress essential oil and althaea officinalis, which helps to intensely refresh skin and tired legs. The roller ball applicator enhances the cooling effect while it glides on the skin, infuses it with a light and fast absorbing gel. The product is meant to be used on legs and feel, while I think it's just as good for other parts of body which are in need of relaxation after a hot and tiring day.

I would advice to keep this gel in the fridge to enjoy a super cooling effect.

Among the Frisson de Verveine range you can also find products like Frisson de Verveine Eau de Toilette (100ml, $72), Cooling Body Gel (250ml, $39), Refreshing Mist (50ml, $15), Hand Cream (30ml, $13) and Bath Salts (300g, $36).

I've really enjoyed the two products from the Frisson de Verveine range I've tried so far, so I'm pretty curious to try other products from this range, especially the Cooling Body Gel which I think can be perfect and extremely pampering for the hot summer days.

If you are curious about the Frisson de Verveine range but you only want to try one products, I would say go for the Ice Gel since it's truly an unique, innovating and pampering product which makes the hot days a bit more bearable.

אם סדרת המוצרים החדשים מסקרנת אתכן והייתן צריכות לבחור מוצר אחד בלבד, הייתי דווקא ממליצה ללכת על המוצר המיוחד ביותר שבליין, ה-אייס ג'ל המקרר; הוא ייחודי, חדשני ומפנק ובהחלט הופך את הימים החמים לנסבלים יותר.
