New Project: Jewelry & Nail Art
December 26, 2013
Along with my currently greatest passion which is nail art, I am also very passionate about photography and my love for beautiful jewelry, so I came up with an idea for a new series of posts that I'm excited to tell you all about.
Recently I've been working on a series of posts that will feature different jewelry and nail art that will be inspired or matched to compliment the piece. I am currently working with some talented jewelry designers form several countries, and soon I will be bringing you the first posts from this series.
I thought this would be a great way to bring together these things that I really love, and hopefully you will enjoy these posts and get inspired by them.
For starters I wanted to share with you a couple of photos I recently took with some of my recent favorite jewelry pieces, both were bought by me a while back, and in case you like them and want to get them for yourself, I will be leaving links and more info along with the items so you can get your hands on these pretties too.

This lovely pink stone ring I got from eBay, from the same seller I got my gorgeous Eiffel Tower ring. I just love how beautiful and feminine it looks, and I was actually surprised that it was really great quality. Not bad for $8, right? The seller describes this ring as 18K rose gold with pink opal stone and tiny Swarovski crystals, but as I mentioned before, when I get my jewelry from eBay and for such a cheap price, I don't expect them to be crafted from "real" materials and I'm just happy that they look great. I take in mind that if this ring was really made from all these expensive materials, it would probably cost a lot more.
Even in closeup you can see that this ring looks great and well crafted, so no complaints there. To be honest, I would probably be happy to pay even more for this one, it's really beautiful.
I haven't got the chance to wear it much, but so far all is in tact and the color didn't rub off. I am very cautious though with this kind of jewelry and remove them when I wash my hands, to prevent any damage to it.
My second favorite is the new pair of earrings I got from Forever 21 store. I felt they would go great with my minty blouse, and I really loved the golden bees with this color.
I can't recall how much I paid for these, except that they were pretty cheap, but when I checked for similar items online, I think I can say they cost me about $4. Another great deal!
They are pretty large, about the size of a coin (a bit over 2cm) but not too heavy, so hopefully they will feel comfortable to wear.
Oh, and the beautiful, beautiful (!!) jewelry dish with this cute little owl was purchased from Asos.com. I got it for £8 (about $13) but it's currently out of stock.
It's a lovely white ceramic dish that I am extremely happy I bought. I think it's a lovely way to store and display items I frequently use, and also great for these kind of photos to display the jewelry pieces.
I hope you enjoyed this post even though it's not nail art related (yet!), but I promise you that the next posts will be featuring more beautiful jewelry and matching nail art, so hopefully you don't be dissapointed.
Feel free to recommend about your favorite places for online jewelry shopping, I would love to find more beautiful items and expend my jewelry collection.
Thanks for reading!
