Last week I was invited to the launch of the new Cosmic Beauty collection by PUPA, a new fall-winter collection that was launched a while ago. Although this might not be the latest collection by the company, I'm still glad to know that PUPA and it's distributors in Israel are bringing new collections and staying up to date.
I was curious about the Cosmic Beauty collection when I first saw it a while back at PUPA Milano site, and I am glad I had the chance to take a closer look at it before it's out in the stores.

After we got to know the brand and the new collection, the Italian makeup artist Federico Lucci showed us how to create a cosmic look with products from the new collection. The look that Federico created on the model was very fierce and impressive, although I felt like it's not a color I would use on myself for an everyday look, I think it was pretty and suitable for fancy events. Lucky for me, the Cosmic Beauty collection consists of other lighter and more subtle colors that I would be happy to use for my makeup look.

And of course, the most interesting part of the night was the Cosmic Beauty collection itself. The collection includes the following products:
Long Lasting Eye Stylo
Long-wearing Eyeshadow-Eyeliner Stylo in five colors: Taupe, violet, blue, green and black.
Iridescent Pigment
Loose Powder Eyeshadow with Iridescent Effect - Wet & Dry in three colors: Silver, blue and green.

XL Retractable Pencil – Shiny Look in three colors: Rose, fuchsia and burgundy.

Although you might already know that the nail polish in this collection was the most appealing product for me, I was happy to find out that all of the products were quite nice and impressive. I especially liked the eye stylo and it's great pigment, and the diamond lipstick. The Iridescent pigment was also an interesting product that I would love to try again. And of course I already have plans to purchase the entire nail polish collection, so you will probably see more of these at the blog soon.

למרות העובדה שהלקים הם המוצר שהכי מדבר אלי בקולקציה, שמחתי לגלות שכל המוצרים דווקא הרשימו אותי לטובה. במיוחד שמתי עין על עיפרון הצללית שהפתיע בפיגמנט ובעמידות שלו ועל השפתונים הלחותיים, שאמנם הם לא מוצר שמחדש יותר מדי ויש מוצרים דומים בשוק, אך מההתנסות איתם בארוע נראה שמדובר במוצרים שהייתי שמחה להשתמש בהם בעתיד. גם אבקת הפיגמנט די הרשימה אותי, במיוחד קסמה לי האבקה הכסופה שמחליפה את צבעה מעט באור, המראה שלה היה מאוד מרשים ומעניין. כמובן בגזרת הלקים אני כבר מתכננת לרכוש את כל הצבעים, אז סביר להניח שתראו אותם בבלוג יחסית בקרוב.

At the end of this magical evening we received a gift bag with a few products to try at home, and although the gift was very generous and the products were interesting (I will be telling you all about them in another post), I was a bit disappointed that I only got one product from the new collection and I wasn't really excited about it (since it was a black eye stylo). I believe that I will be purchasing some of the products from this collection because from what I've seen these are great quality and impressive products that I will be happy to include in my makeup bag.

בסוף הערב הקסום הזה קיבלנו במתנה קיט של מוצרי פופה להתנסות בבית, אמנם המתנה היתה נדיבה מאוד והכילה מוצרים מעניינים (עליהם אספר בפוסט אחר בהמשך), אך מעט התאכזבתי שקיבלתי רק מוצר אחד מהקולקציה החדשה, וגם הוא היה פחות מרגש (עיפרון עיניים שחור). אני מאמינה שארכוש חלק מהמוצרים שבקולקציה החדשה, כי לדעתי באמת מדובר במוצרים איכותיים ומעניינים שהייתי שמחה להוסיף לתיק האיפור שלי.
