Morgan Taylor Under The Stars
September 20, 2013
For today's post I have a gorgeous polish to share with you, it is one of my recent additions to the collection and the first Morgan Taylor polish I own. Morgan Taylor is relatively new brand at the market, and I've been curious to try their nail polish myself, especially after seeing this gorgeous polish swatched by other bloggers - I just knew I had to get it!
Morgan Taylor Under The Stars is a goooorgeous dark navy jelly with silver holographic glitter in various sizes. It is just too pretty to translate to photos, but you will have to take my word on it.
The formula was quite thick and packed with beautiful glitter, I did feel that the formula might have been a bit too thick for me, but despite this I didn't have any problems with application.
Two coats of this polish will give a full coverage with a jelly look, but I wanted it to be completely opaque so I used GA-DE 472 Blue Blood (one coat) as base for this polish, then applied two coats of Morgan Taylor Under The Stars. To seal this manicure I applied one coat of Poshe Top Coat.

This polish is really beautiful and looks fantastic in the sun, the holographic glitter reflects the light and makes this polish look magical on the nails. The name that was picked for this polish is a perfect fit, the beautiful glitter in this dark navy jelly really looks like a starry sky.
I'm really happy with this purchase and I hope to get more polishes by Morgan Taylor in the future to add to my collection. They already have so many beautiful shades to pick from, and I already have some of then in my wishlist.
Have you tried Morgan Taylor polishes yet? What are your thougths on the polish I reviewd in this post?
Hope you like it and enjoy this post!

Thank you!
DeleteThe polish is gorgeous! Did you find that the top coat smoothed it out enough or would you suggest adding a second?
ReplyDeleteThanks. I think that one coat smooths it enough. It wasn't perfectly smooth but I didn't feel the need in two coats.
DeleteI picked up this beautiful polish a few weeks ago. It's my first Morgan Taylor. I will be wearing it soon after seeing your lovely swatches of it :)
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous, isn't it? :)
DeleteUnder the Stars also happens to be my one and only Morgan Taylor!! :D I love it as well...the name fits the polish perfectly, or vice versa. BEAUTIFUL and so sparkly! And your nails are to die for! I have such short nail beds and am having a heck of a time getting them to grow back out after I broke every single nail this summer. :( As I'm sure you know, that's a major issue for a blogger! Thank you for the lovely mani...it makes me want to wear mine right now. ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree! I just couldn't resist it. Sorry to hear about your break, I hope they will grow fast.
DeleteGorgeous color on gorgeous nails! :))
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI need this polish in my life! What a beautiful shade and the glitter is just drool-worthy! As always your swatches look totally gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much dear! Glad to hear you liked it!
Deletelovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteMT Under The Stars is literally one of the most beautiful polishes I have ever seen. No picture could possibly do it justice, and when sunlight hits it you will almost wreck your car because it is impossible to stop looking at it. I own several MT polishes and they are all good, but UtS is in a class by itself.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the best part is that it costs under $10. Wooot! Morgan Taylor polishes are wonderful and my small collection of them WILL be expanding.
So perfect! The sparkle ♥ the base color ♥. Did youw ear this for a longer time? If so, did the topcoat stay smooth and glossy or is it a hungry glitter?
