Hello to me lovely readers!
Today I have a delicious swatch for you to start this lovely summery weekend.
Zoya Destiny from the PixieDust Summer 2013 collection, is a bright orange (or coral) shade with golden shimmer. The PixieDust collection includes textured polishes with a gritty finish, which makes them really sparkly and pretty in the sun.
The formula was quite good, pretty thick but I didn't have any problems with the application. I applied two coats, no top coat. It look a bit longer to dry than normal creme or jelly formulas, but it wasn't that bad.
I'm still not sure how I feel about textured polishes, I love how they look on the nails, but it always feels weird to touch. Sometimes the texture makes me shiver lol. Still, taking this fact in mind, I really wanted to try the polishes from the PixieDust collection because they look so gorgeous on the nails!
Hope you will enjoy the photos, thanks for reading!

DeleteBeautiful pictures! Could you do a post showing your photography set up? I am nosy I know but I'm very curious!
ReplyDeleteThank you dear! I actually don't have a special setup. I just take photos at a certain time period when it has the best light for me, and I take my photos near an open window so I get good light. Sometimes I close the glass (it's a blurred glass) so I get softer light. That's about it, I think. If there's anything you would like to know, I would be happy to share with you. :)
DeleteThank you Natalie :) I'm more curious about what you use for the lovely shiny desk your polish stands on and how you make the interesting grey backdrop. I'm currently experimenting with glitter and patterned backgrounds and I'm just exploring :)
DeleteOh I just placed them on the kitchen microwave and it's the texture of the fridge behind it that makes it so pretty :) I just put them there and was surprised to see how pretty they look :)
Deleteкакой песочек классный! и маникюр шикарный! и фото красивущие - все очень понравилось!
