El Corazon 423/91 Eggs Of Wild Birds
July 14, 2013
So this is my first swatch of the El Corazon polishes from the Eggs Of Wild Birds collection I posted about in the previous post.
This color is 423/91, a beight / light brown creme base with large and tiny black matte hex glitter.
I really love the color and the effect that creates a spotted bird egg look. The color is really soft and pretty, and the formula was great - with just two coats I got a great full coverage, which was a nice surprise.
The glitter didn't create a grittey surface, but still a top coat was needed to smooth the nail surface.
I thought that a matte top coat with this nail polish will create more delicate and natural look, so I applied one coat of Revlon 790 Matte To Coat. I can assure you that it would have been gorgeous with a glossy top coat as well.
I didn't feel like I need to add anything on top of this, like stamping or anything else. Thanks to the glitter in the base, the final look that is achieved using this polish is very interesting by itself.
You probably already noticed that my photos are a bit different than usual, well I've borrowed a great camera from my bf, so I can take prettier photos for my blog.
Hope you will like the swatches and the photos. Let me know your thoughts, and and what would you like me to swatch next.
Thanks for reading!
