Hello ladies!
I wanted to share with you my experience with another order from Korea, this time through the blog-shop thecutestmakeup.com
I came across this blog-shop a a while ago, mainly when I was looking for swatches or closer looks at bottles of Korean and Asian polish brands like Innisfree, Etude House, Modi etc.
I would then come to check this blog quite often to see what's new in the Korean cosmetics and nail polish world, and it took me a while to realize that this was actually a shop where I can order awesome stuff and have them shipped to me, just like a regular online shop.
I was happy to find out that there's a lovely girl behind this blog-shop, she lives in Korea and has access to these great brands which are hard to find (well, you can find some them on ebay but the selection isn't that large and the prices aren't as low!) and she provides this service to anyone and everywhere! What an awesome idea, it even made me think of doing a similar thing here in Israel and offer my help with getting Israeli brands for the international ladies, but then I realized I don't really have enough time at the moment for such a project.

You must be asking yourself "how can I order Korean brands from this blog-shop too?", well, it's really simple!
You contact her via the contact form, list the items you want to buy, and you will get an estimated cost for your items and shipping fee, based on the shipping chart. Then you pay in advance for the items (via paypal), and the lovely lady behind this blog-shop is going to look for your desired items around the shops in Korea. It will take a while to get the items, and some might be out of stock due to high demand, but don't worry - in that case you will receive this part of your money back.
In my case, when some of the items I requested were out of stock, she kindly offered me to pick something else, and I did, so she got other times instead and even refunded some of the money for items that were out of stock. Even the shipping fee was cheaper than estimated, and I was refunded for that as well.
As for shipping, the package arrived surprisingly fast, it took about a week or so (from shipping date), and it was shipped by regular mail. There is an option for express mail (EMS) or regular without tracking if you want to keep the shipping cost low (that's what I picked). Everything was packed carefully with bubble wrap and placed into an envelope.
I ordered 10 items, 9 were polish bottles and 1 eye shadow pencil. They all arrived in great condition, completely new and sealed. She was also very generous and included a large bag of different samples, which was really great and generous of her.
Overall I was very impressed with here service, she was extremely nice and patient, answered all my questions and even directed me to some swatches when I asked her about certain polishes I couldn't find swatches to. She replied to my emails really quickly, and indeed didn't take long to collect the items (well the only delay was me, since I kept adding new things to my buy list, but she was very quick with getting them), and the shipping was surprisingly cheap and fast.
I don't think I could ask for anything better! This will certainly be my new go-to place when I want to shop for Korean cosmetics and nail polish from now on. I truly recommend you to use the great service she offers, I had a great experience and I'm very happy with my purchase.
Thank you for reading and let me know if you have any questions regarding this blog-shop, I would be happy to answer.

ReplyDeleteI also love Korean polishes, they are good quality for the price and so unusual! I am wearing some Etude House ice cream nails while I type this lol

Thank you so much for sharing this... being in the US, I love opportunities to get international polish as it's something special. :-) I had a friend that was teaching in Korea & she sent me some lovely Tony Moly & Skin Food polishes while she was there...
