My latest mani is something I enjoy wearing for the past few days, it's so pretty that I don't even want to change it. It's really simply yet soooo beautiful I just stare at it all the time. 

I really wanted to try the Innisfree flakie polish that I got a while ago, I actually got it because I was looking for a dupe for Deborah Lippmann's Sweet Dreams, which is a gorgeous pink flakie. This one was pretty close and just looked fabulous. The polish you see below is actually more pink toned in real life and it shows more orange because of the color I layered it over. So in these photos it's not a really good example for it being  a dupe for DL's Sweet Dreams, but it's so gorgeous!

I started with one coat of GADE Fruit (which I swatched alone in this post), it wasn't opaque in one coat, but I was going to layer more coats of the Innisfrre polish so that didn't bother me.

Then I applied two coats of Innisfree Cherry Jelly (99) which is a pink-red toned flakie, in the bottle it looks very similar to Deborah Lippmann Sweet Dreams. I guess if I layered it over a bit more pink toned base, it could have been a better example to show you how similar they are.

The Inisfree polish was opaque enough with 3 coats, and on it's own it was pretty close to the look I created with the base color, but a bit more sheer.

It was really pretty with a glossy top coat, but I decided to try the matte look with Revlon Matte Top Coat which I came to love love love since the first time I tried it.

The result was stunning! It looks like flames on my fingertips, simply gorgeous. I even love that it didn't come out as I intended it to be (hoping to create a dupe look), but something more interesting and beautiful.

I wanted to share with you swatches and my impressions of the two Seche polishes I received at the Seche launch even.
First let me say that the colors were lovely, I really liked them. Though they are not the most original colors and I already have similar colors in my collection, but still these were very pretty.
I can tell you that based on my experience with the Seche Top Coat and knowing that these polishes are based on the same formula as the top coat, I was expecting two things of them: quick dry time and a glossy finish.
The quick dry part was indeed quick, maybe even too quick for me since I had a bit streaky application. This might be because I normally use a few strokes with each cote, just to make sure it's spread evenly. Unfortunately my method didn't work as good with these two polishes.
The finish wasn't as glossy as I expected, in fact I was hoping to skip the top coat part hoping that the formula will do the job, but it was a bit dull to me, and a top coat was needed for this look as you see in the photos below.
I applied two coats to receive a full coverage, even though these polishes are quite pigmented and had a good coverage with one coat, I still prefer applying another coat just to make sure it looks perfect.
For me the experience with both polishes was the same, it wasn't amazing as I expected, but maybe I had too high hopes for them.

Timeless Style is a light dusty rose, almost nude color. I really liked this shade, it's very lovely and feminine, a perfect shade if you are looking for something neutral. It has a subtle golden-red shimmer that shows well in the bottle, unfortunately it doesn't really show on the nails at all.




Casually Cool is a pretty light blue pastel, a lovely color that makes me think of a clear blue sky. It also has a subtle blue shimmer to it that shows in the bottle but not on the nails.

Just wanted to share with you my, that today I'm going to attend the annual event "Product Of The Year" in Israel. I'm very happy to be one of the people to attend this event and will gladly share my thoughts with you of this event in my next posts.

I wanted to share with you my manicure from the past few days. Actually I made this design on Tuesday and removed it today so I can do some swatches, so I can definitely say it stayed with me longer than usually.
I really wanted to recreate a delicate design with the dandelion from my Nailz Craze plate (last time I did a mani with this design was a year ago, wow!), and I wanted to combine it with a light and fresh color, so I picked China Glaze Kinetic Candy. It's a dusty light blue, a bit green tinted. I would say it's some sort of minty color, but the "mint" range is so wide  you never know whether it's mint, green or blue. It's a beautiful shade in any case!
I applied two coats of Kinetic Candy, then added silver holographic glitter to the top, I wanted to create a reverse glitter gradient. It didn't turn out as I wanted, it just looks like I painted half of the nail with the glitter, but at least I tried lol. The glitter is from a Korean brand called A'Pieu aמd the polish name / number is SV01.
Then I stamped the dandelion design from the Nailz Craze NC01 plate with Konad White, and applied one coat of Poshe to seal the design.
I really love how delicate and sparkly this looks, it wasn't exactly what I imagined but it came out lovely and I received many compliments for this one, so I was happy with it even more!

Today I'm going to share with you my experience with nail foil I received from KKCenterHK for review. They sent me two foil patterns of my choice and a nail foil glue, and in this post I'm going to review the silver holo foil. 

I actually picked this nail foil because of it's pattern, you can take a better look at it at their site since I had hard time capturing the beauty of the foil on camera. It's really sparkly, reflective and looks very festive. The foil is 1.5 meters long and 4 cm wide, it's rolled and placed in a plastic jar, which was really good because I've ordered nail foil from other shops before and most of them came in a ziplock bag which didn't keep it in a perfect shape as this one was.

I decided to apply a base color as background in case some parts wouldn't transfer, so I picked Essie No Place Like Chrome for this job and applied one coat of it. I waited for it to dry completely, and then I applied one thin coat of the foil glue. This glue dried quite fast and turned from white to clear, it was very sticky compared to another foil glue I have tried.

Once the glue looked dry but tacky, I placed the nail foil on my thumb and pressed it with a cotton pad to make the application better and smooth. So I rubbed it for a while, but I couldn't transfer it at first. It seemed to me that the foil was glued pretty good to the nail, and no matter how much I rubbed it or tried to lift the foil piece from the nail, it wouldn't lift off. I think it might be my fault, maybe I didn't wait long enough for the glue to dry completely.
Then I tried another method, sort of tapping the foil piece on the nail, so it transferred well but in small pieces, so unfortunately I didn't get the whole pattern but only small parts of it. I kept applying the foil with tap motion to the nail until it didn't stick anymore, and the result is before you. It's a pretty cool metallic look, but not as beautiful as the foil itself. It didn't transfer much of the pattern which was a bit sad for me, but I think I will give it another try. I don't know if it's the glue's fault or mine for not waiting enough, but I plan to experiment a little and let you know my results the next time I try it.

Yesterday I was invited to a launch event of Seche here in Israel, and I just wanted to share with you some photos from this event. This is actually the first time I had the chance to see these up close, and I was very happy to get to know this brand a little better. I already tried the Seche Vite top coat before, but the colorful line was new to me. There are some great colors in the collection, and I even went home with two gorgeous colors that I can't wait to try. 

I thought to make this post actually more informative so that the ladies here in Israel will get more familiar with Seche since I guess that most international ladies already know about this brad (that's why it's mostly in Hebrew). For this weekend I wore this simple and gorgeous nail art, which is actually a combination of two Korean polishes I recently purchased. I won't lie, it had it's cons and pros, but the result was really pretty.
I got both of these polishes with the help of The Cutest Makeup blog (which I will explain about in another post) along with some other cool polishes.

I started this nail art with Etude House - Tint Mint (DGR701), a gorgeous mint color (I really love minty shades and I have plenty of them. I wouldn't say it's really something special that you can't find with other brands, but I still wanted to get this one). It's a creamy polish with a great formula that gave a good coverage with just one thick coat, so I was very happy about this. I also want to mention that Etude House changed their brush and made it slimmer, which is a great improvement since the previous brush was really wide. It was ok for glitter application but made it harder to get accurate strokes, so I'm very pleased with this change. 
Then I applied one coat of Modi 48 which contains black and silver shreds of matte glitter in a clear base. When I ordered this polish I actually didn't see any swatches of it, and I was just curious to try a nail polish from this brand. I was very surprised and happy to find out that this polish was exactly what I was looking for from another brand. It was great on the swatch stick, but then when I applied it to my nails, I found it a bit hard to work with. There were a lot of large shreds that stuck to the brush and to the nail, too big to put on my nails, so I had to wipe them on paper to remove them from the brush. There were also some shreds that were not straight but folded, again something I can't use. Another thing that I was a bit disappointed about is that there were lots of tiny black bits that made it look a bit dirty, and not as clear as Dance Legend Aztec No 6 which looks similar to this polish. It gave the polish a dusty look, which I didn't like at first.
I did like the combination of the silver and the black colors, I think it's a nice addition to this polish and much more interesting this way.
Then I added one coat of Poshe on top of that, I hopped it will smooth the surface but it still remained quite bumpy at some parts, even though I applied a thick coat of top coat.
I know it probably sounds like I had a really bad experience with this polish, but I guess it wasn't that bad after all because I came to love this nail art and enjoyed it for whole 3 days which is a lot for me lol. Well, I guess it was because I was really busy this weekend as well, but still - I enjoed wearing it, it's just that the application was a bit tricky.
After all I think this nail art turned out pretty nice, and it photographed very well. I think it's worth giving this Modi polish a second try, it really looks great with this color and it made me want to do another mani with this polish over a gray base and a matte top coat. I think it will look great and will create some sort of marble or stone look, which could be really nice to try.
