Today I want to share you with swatches of some polishes by Colores de Carol.
Carolina was very generous and sent me 3 mini polishes for the review and another full size bottle for me to give away to one of my readers.
All three polishes I received are white milky jellies with a mix of colorful glitters, but the glitter in them make each polish different and unique.
Carolina was very generous and sent me 3 mini polishes for the review and another full size bottle for me to give away to one of my readers.
All three polishes I received are white milky jellies with a mix of colorful glitters, but the glitter in them make each polish different and unique.
Peony is a colorful mix of pastel glitter in white jelly base. This polish contains pink, blue and green glitter in various shapes like squares, hex and round glitter. This was my favorite polish from the three I got to review, I really love the sweet pastel look of this polish combined with the white base.
I applied two coats of Peony over one coat of Wet n Wild French White Creme, because from swatches I've seen before, these polishes are quite sheer and you need to use about 3 coats to build up for a good coverage, but I decided to layer them over a white base to get an instant good coverage and make the glitter pop out on the white background. For the photos below I applied one coat of Poshe to smooth the glitter.
Darling Wildflower is a mix of bright colorful glitter that made me think of a circus or a party confetti. It's a mix of various shapes, bright and fun colors, and also contains glitter shaped as hearts (which I didn't catch this time), stars and black bar glitter. This is a fun one to wear but was a bit tricky for me to "fish" for the glitter inside the tiny bottle. I assume this will probably not happen in a full size bottle since the brush is bigger, which might help the glitter to stick to it and apply more glitter easily. For these photos I also layered two coats of the polish over white base and applied one coat of Poshe.
Carnation is a mix of red and brown hex, square and round glitter. It also contains some iridescent glitter which is hard to catch on camera and I also didn't get many of them on the brush, but from looking at the bottle you can see it's a lovely addition to this polish. Application was easy with this one, and here as well I applied two coats of this polish over a white base and topped it off with one coat of Poshe.
