Nailz Craze NC04 "Glam" Stamping Plate

I feel like I have to start this post with an apology - I'm sorry I haven't made a post in a while, I just had the busiest week I had in a long time, I didn't even have the time to change my nail polish! So I guess you can understand how busy I was lol...

But seriously, I feel like it's been a while since I had a decent post here. I believe that now I will have more time to create new nail art and share it with you.

I made this design a week ago and I'm not sure if all of you saw it already, I did post one quick photo of it on the Facebook page but I didn't really like the picture I posted there so I took some new photos the next day when the sun came out.

This is the first design I've done with my new Nailz Craze NC04 Glam plate. I was so excited when I got it and I just did a quick mani, tried to include various designs from the plate to show you how they will look on the nails. In these pictures you can see four of the designs from this plate.

For the base I applied two coats of Essie Beyond Cozy (which is gorgeous! It's color is a pale gold, almost looks like silver but I would say it's defiantly gold glitter) and applied one coat of Poshe to smooth it out. Then I stamped over it with Konad Black. I was really happy with how crisp the designs were, I was worried that they might not come out from the factory as well, but they were nice and easy to stamp.

The diamond on the ring finger was a bit tricky because of it's large blank space, but if you use the technique I showed in this video, you should get a nice result. It might take you a while to get it right but as you can see this is doable.

When I designed the Nailz Craze Nc04 "Glam" stamping plate I was inspired by diamonds and gemstones, so you will be able to find these elements in different versions all over this plate.

The diamond stamp (in the middle row on the left) is what I call a reverse stamp, which allows you to stamp over a glitter polish or over layered design with a gradient or a flakie polish for instance, so the end result will look like you stamped with the glitter itself. I've created a similar design on NC02 Magical plate (the reverse clouds image) which allows you to use the same technique as I mentioned before.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with my latest plate and I hope that you will enjoy it. You can purchase this plate at my Etsy store. At the moment I can only offer you NC04 Glam plate along with NC03 Russian plate, the other plates are out of stock, but I'm working on getting them back in stock.

I'm wearing Nfu Oh 52 as the base, and used Kleancolor metallic green followed by Kleancolor gold for the stamp. The base color reminds me of the colorings of a peacock (blue/purple jelly base with green flakies), so it made sense for me to add a gold feather across it.

When I saw your stamping plates for the first time, I completely fell in love with the Pegasus and the unicorn. And when I finally got it, it immediately made me think of my little pony! Haha, thus the rainbow gradient as a basic and the Pegasus:) and everything girly needs glitter, therefore the glitter placement accent nail :)

So I choose to use only one design: the dandelion one. And I made a kind of "dandelion in the wind". ^^

Sparklicorn Doomtrocity has a rainbow gradient backdrop, white background stamps, and black foreground stamps with a rainbow holograph glitter on top. All stamps are from NC02 Magical Plate, and all designs on NC02 were used!

I was excited to get my NC03 plate and wanted to try it out. I was inspired by a binder-cover. I free handed a three-toned base using OPI "Skull and Glossbones", Essie "Chinchilly" and Cult Nails "Blackout". I stamped using white and NC03. A matte topcoat and two black rhinestones complete this look.

I've named this 'Into the land of the unicorns'. It was one of my favorite books as a child and it inspired this design. I think that the duochrome background and silver stamping help convey this really whimsical and magical story.

Swatch & Review: ILNP - Babaes In Toyland & Her Highness

Today I'm going to show you two more of the lovely ILNP polishes I got for review. You can read my previous review for ILNP - Purple Stuff in the post I did a while back ago.

As I mentioned in the previous review, the packages and the branding are absolutely gorgeous and I love them, but as the previous lacquer, these two are having a strong bitter smell which was quite hard for me to bare. These are still pretty and I guess some of you wouldn't mind the smell, especially when it comes to such pretty glitter bombs.

Babes in Toyland is a green, fuchsia, blue and gold glitter mix with hexagons, squares and circles in a clear base. I really love this combination of colors and shapes and I think this one will look great over any color. I applied one coat over a dark blue base (Life 343), no top coat. The glitter was really easy to spread over the nail since the bottle is filled with generous amount of them, so the application was pleasant. I really love the final look of this one, In my eyes defiantly a must have from ILNP brand.

Her Highness is a fuchsia, brown and gold glitter mix of hexagons and round glitter in a clear base. This is the firs time I see (and own) a brown glitter in a mix and I have to admit it was quite refreshing to see something new. I think this allows a larger variety of combinations I wouldn't have though to make before, such as apply it over an orange or brown base. I applied one coat over Lime Crime Milky Ways, no top coat. Application was easy as well, I did have a few bold spots but it was easy to fill them up. I was curious to see how this combination of colors will work together since it's nothing I've seen or had before, and I was pleased with the final look.
