I wanted something cute and simple for this weekend, and I couldn't resist the lovely Essie's Watermelon red, so I went for something simple with the stamping on my ring finger.
I applied Barry M Indigo on the ring finger, then stamped the stripes with white Essence Stampy Polish and on top of that I stamped a gold anchor with Barry M Gold Foil.

I have a nasty habit doing my nails at night so the light in these photos is not what I want it to be. I will try taking some photos tomorrow morning in hope that the mani will stay in a good shape, so you could see more accurate color of Essie's Watermelon, which is a sweet red with a pink undertone. It's so yummy I want to bite my fingers off lol.

I wanted to do this mani for a while now, and yesterday I finally did it. I decided to make it a themed mani and called it Starry Night.

I used L'oreal's Mystic Blue which is a deep dark blue with kind of a frost/shimmery finish.

I really loved the curved brush and the application was nice though a bit streaky. I used two coats for these photos.

For the stamping I used Essie No place like chrome and Essence Gleam in blue with the new Nailz Craze NC01 stamping plate which I'm really happy how it turned out. In this nail art I combined the shooting star, sparkles / stars and the cloud stamps. I layered the cloud stamp four times over the ring finger to create this look. I didn't use a top coat in these pictures because I was worried it will smear the stamps, but if I would I know it would give it a great shiny finish.
I'm very pleased with the overall look and I really fell in love with this mani. I think it's my favorite so far.

Pupa's Holographics are quite new around the world and that's why I was surprised to see them in the local drugstore. Usually we get only the old collections and we're like two years behind, and the selections is pretty poor... I visit this place at least once a week and I know there are no surprises, but I was quite excited when I saw these cute little holos on the top shelf. I didn't own any Pupa's polishes in my collection by that moment, because they are so little and very pricy, but I couldn't resist a holo, could I?

I grabbed this pair, a light blue and a purple one, didn't pick any pinks because I have the Jade' Sedução Rose which is a gorgeous holo pink, but then I saw another Pupa's holos online I know I must have this one too - Strawberry so I hope to get it in time before they are out of stock.

Sky Blue is a light blue holographic. It has a pretty holo effect in the sun, but it's kind of dull in the shade. It's not as crazy as Layla's or Jade's holos but it's still nice.

The fornula was great, it was really dense and I almost could use one thick coat for a nice coverage, but I used 2 for these photos. The brush was nice, even though the bottle cap is short, the brush itself was quite long - even a bit longer than most polishes I own.

Another good thing I found about these is that they are not losing of the holo effect once I applied a top coat,what happens to most holo polishes. I waited about 20 minutes for it to dry and then applied Poshe on two wingers to see if they lose the holo effect, but they didn't so that was great news.

The bottle contains 5 ml and it was about $5 on sale, so not too expensive I guess.

Violet is kind of a violet/purple holo, really pretty and I think my favorite among these two. I really love how it looks in the sun, the holo effect gets this slightly pink/red tone in it which I like.

This one was great as well formula wise, just the same as Sky Blue.

I think I will defiantly get the Strawberry as well, even though I've promised myself to take a break from nail polish hunting :)

Today's NOTD is Essence Irreplaceable which I was really excited about for a long time but somehow when I got it, I kind of forgot about it and didn't use it until now. I don't know why but I was expecting something really fancy, but instead I got this lovely beige-nude color with a pretty golden shimmer of tiny glass flecks. Don't get me wrong, I do think it's pretty but not as gorgeous as I thought it would be on me. Maybe it's because it doesn't match my skin tone as I wanted it to, but it's pretty in the bottle! 

I would still recommend you to have it in your stash.You know how it is, there are times when we want to use subtle colors on our nails, and this polish will do a great job.
I used two coats for the pictures.

Gold Foil is a golden foil polish. It's super opaque and really good for stamping. Actually that's the main reason I wanted this one in my stash. I haven't used it as much but I have some plans for it. mostly for stamping.
It's opaque with one coat but I used two coats for these pictures to smooth it out.

Croc Nail Effects is a black crackle. Unlike most crackles it has a glossy finish and it's cracks are spreading in various ways, what helps to create this croc like look. Another thing that's different about this one is that it takes about 2-3 minutes to complete the crackle effect, which was really surprising as for most regular crackles it takes much faster and the process begins when you apply it on the nail. I used one generous coat on top of the Gold Foil to create this look. The cracks will appear more delicate if you apply a thin coat of the Croc Nail Effect polish.

Mint Green is a green almondy creme. It's formula is pretty thin and you will probably need 3 coats for full coverage. I used 2 coats for these photos but clearly  you can see through it. 

This one was a bit of a disappointment to me - the color wasn't what I expected at all, it's not that minty in my eyes, and the thin formula isn't that great. I mean, I already use so many different coats when I do my nails so adding another one is just too much...

Indigo is a gorgeous dark blue. I couldn't decide if it's creme or kind of a jelly? In any case I love it! I needed 2 coats for this perfect result. The formula is great and the color is fantastic. I don't know why I haven't used this one by now. I purchased it when I planned to do navy nails but haven't done them eventually. Guess this mani should come soon :)

Aqua Glitter is a turquoise dense glitter in two sizes and a clear base. It's great as a top coat or on it's own. Actually I was thinking about glitter gradient when I bought this one, but it's quite great on it's own. I used 3 coats for these pictures. Since no one likes the glitter removal I haven't used it for a full mani yet but I'm waiting for my peel off base coat to give it a try.

Black Multi-Glitter is a black jelly/creme with silver holo glitters. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed about this one as well. The holo is not so holo most of the time, and finish on the nails is really bumpy - but that can be solved with few (not one I'm sure) generous Poshe top coats. The formula was good though. For these photos I used 2 coats.

I've decided to swatch all my Barry M collection today, and what seemed to be an easy task at the beginning, became surprisingly difficult... So now I have even more appreciation for those girls with the perfect swatches and photos I love so much:)

First is Peach Melba, a peachy pastel cream. I decided to compare it with Essie A Crewed interest. Since I've swatched them before separately, I've made a comparison photo so you can see they are both peachy pastels but quite different.

Barry M Peach Melba is on the index and ring finger, and Essie A Crewed interest on middle finger and pinky.

Peach Melba was opaque after 2 coats with a great formula, as for A Crewed interest I applied 2 streaky coats so you can still see the nail underneath. Defiantly should wear 3 coats if you want a better coverage, but I love it's color better.

Pink Flamingo is a pink cream with a coral shade to it.I couldn't really figure it out from swatches before I purchased it, it's quite hard to get it's color right. Sometimes it looks like a hot pink and sometimes more coraly. Beautiful color and great formula, also needed 2 coats for good coverage.

Pink Neon is a pink neon (duh!) with a violet shimmer, which is  quite unique and gorgeous to my eyes. It is pretty sheer as most neons we've seen this summer. I used 2 coats but you can still see my nails underneath it, but I think over white base it should pop out, or you can apply 3 coats for full coverage.

Burgundy is a deep winy color with frost finish (or shall we say a burgundy color? Very original names I must say). I really love how deep it is. The formula is also great and you can even be satisfied with one coat, but I used 2 coats to enrich the color for these photos.

Today's NOTD is a lovely fresh mint color with a delicate glitter top coat.

Of course I had to matched my nails to my favorite mint polka dot blouse I wore for Rosh Hashana and this was my natural choice. I'm really into mint lately, it's definitely the new pink for me :)

I used Wet n Wild I Need a Refresh-Mint as a base coat (needed 2 coats for a good coverage) and applied one coat of OPI Pirouette My Whistle over it. Of course I used the legendary Poshe top coat for a perfect glossy and durable finish.

I think this mint color is a perfect match for this blouse and I really love how it looks together :)

I also wore my favorite bracelet from Shlomit Ofir's shop, who is an Israeli jewelry designer - I absolutely adore her jewelry! I fell in love with this delicate bracelet at first sight, and I just love these two little love birds sitting on this branch. You can find at her shop many more lovely designs inspired by nature and other elements.
