Sometimes wishes do come true...
I've been longing for this gorgeous Whimsical nail polish by Revlon for so long, and finally (thanks to a lovely lady) I own one. It's almost impossible to get it here and it seems like it's an urban legend - everyone knows it exists but no one saw it lol. I couldn't be happier!
I just love it's depth and how it sparkles in the sun, and even in the shade the hexagon glitters catch some light.
Today is the Israeli independence day and I think I found the right nail polish to wear because it's really festive and reminds me of fireworks.

It was a quite a procedure to put it on and I finally ended up with 6 different coats of polish.

First I used one coat of nail hardener, then I applied two coats of Luxe Nude by GADE which is really pretty and looks to me like something a bride would wear on her wedding day.

The next day I applied 3 coats of Revlon Whimsical. I think next time I will wear it I will use only 2 coats of Whimsical.

I was struggling with the glitter and tried to arrange it evenly on each nail but it was pretty hard, and some nails got an overdose of the glitters I think :)

But after all I'm really happy with the result. See how pretty it is even in the shade?

I wanted to share with you this nail art I did for a contest.

This is actually the first time I did full gradient and full stamping nail art.

I used GA-DE nail polish in two of my favorite colors: Fashion Fuchsia #384 and Marshmallow #368.

For the stamp I used Bundle Monster BM-221 plate and stamped with Catherine Arley #805 Black Holographic polish. I didn't have a decent black stamping polish up until now (I just got a HUGE nail mail today!) but I was surprised how nice this holo looks on the gradient I created.

Overall I'm pretty pleased with it but I know the competition is going to be hard because there are some talented ladies.

I had a really pleasant surprise few days ago when I discovered I won a giveaway that Danra's Vault hosted for a Glossy Box subscription. Let me start this post by sharing with you a little secret.

I don't usually buy fancy or expensive cosmetic brands. Call me cheap, but I just can't spend so much money on a product just because it's a well known fancy brand. Maybe that's because I rarely use makeup, but I don't have a problem using a good quality unknown brands as long as they do the job. Sometimes it's just a bad habit to buy tons of cheap stuff and then I'm stuck with it and don't use it because it's not as good as I first thought or I just don't love the color.

I was tempted to buy this 2 in1 Lipstick & Lip Gloss that looks like a MAC product, but the seller didn't mention anywhere the brand, and I hardly doubt that a real MAC product will cost as low as $3. Frankly I don't care if it's MAC or not, I just love the color and the price was great. I would have bought it even if it wasn't branded at all.

Usually when purchasing online, it's really hard to tell the real color and most of you who shop online probably already know that the pictures aren't the real deal and there is almost always a huge color difference between the pictures on site and the product in real life.

Few days ago I received this product and was quite surprised. It looks like a good quality product, still don't know if it's real or not because I don't have nothing to compare it to, but I like it.

Surprisingly the lip gloss smells really nice, it has fresh lemony scent, and the lipstick smells like.. well... lipstick :)
I chose color #5 but I think each seller has their own numbering system so I wouldn't count on that. I would describe its as a peachy pink. It's overall size is 10.5 cm.

The lipstick looks to be in a full size, but the lip gloss is place in much smaller container (about 3.5 cm). It's really hard to get a good amount of gloss on that stick. It took me more than 10 times to apply it evenly on the lips.

What I do like about this double lipstick / lip gloss is that it's combined all in one product and it gives you few combinations of how to wear it.

There are 3 options of wearing this: lip gloss only, lipstick only, and the combination of lip gloss on top of the lipstick.

For the last few days I've been wearings this gorgeous red nail polish by GA-DE, Rodeo Drive #365.

I'm not a huge fan of red nail polish because it's always hard for me to pick the right color. I don't like it when there's a bit of orange in red because then it reminds me of a tomato, and I don't like it when it's just too dark. There are always so many shades to pick from and that makes it even herded to decide.

This one is simply perfect because as I see it, it has a bit of deep pink touch to it which makes it the perfect color for me. I really love this one and I have to say it's lasting pretty well. It's been four days now and it looks quite good. These pictures were taken at the first day.
I used 2 coats and received good results and full coverage.

My everyday makeup is very minimal and contains a small routine: concealer, eyeshadow and mascara. I can't say I put too much afford into this look, but it keeps me feeling nice all day.

Not so long ago I couldn't leave the house without a heavy eyeliner, but I'm just too lazy these days...

I can't even remember the last time used a lipstick or a lip gloss on a regular basis (really, few years ago) but last few weeks I have a huge urge for cosmetics and make up, so when I received this cute lipstick as a gift from my cousin, I was really happy.

This pinkish lipstick has no name, it's #53 by Golden Rose. It's really nice and fresh, not too heavy on the lips and has a lovely sweet scent.

I really like it and I think it could be a great addition for the minimal everyday look I'm used to :)

Today I'm wearing this sweet pink color by GA-DE. It's called Marshmallow #368. It's kind of a peachy pink to my eyes and I really love it. It's perfect for sunny days like these.

I've added a matt top coat by CHIC which didn't cost that much (it was about $8) but does a great job in my opinion.

I'm thinking that maybe later on I'll spice it up with a stamp or do half of the nail in glossy finish.

Wanted to match my nails with my mint blouse, so I picked a mint green shade of GADE nail polish and a Nubar 2010 top coat.

It kind of reminds me of a mermaid's tail :)

I used Mint Green #439 by GA-DE and Nubar 2010.

Hi there,

Finally I decided to create a nail polish blog, since I'm just obsessed with it lately and I can't see how it will fit my other blogs. Besides, this hobby deserves it's own blog :)

I'll try to keep it simple and nails related only. I tend to do a mesh from all my hobbies at one place, but I really hope that this blog will serve me for my nail addictions.

I guess you can say I'm kind of a new addict, but I can tell you guys - I'm in it deep! I'm just obsessed with all nail related stuff. I spend lots of time on ebay searching for new polishes to buy, buying some new for my collection each time I visit the local drugstore. just bought the Bundle Monster stamping plates and it goes on and on... What can I say? I'm obsesses and I LOVE it! 

Just so you know, where I live (Israel) - getting the popular brands such as OPI, Essie, China Glaze, Zoya, Nubar and so on, is also an impossible mission. Most of the brands are not even sold out here, and these which are - cost about $14. That's outrageous :X So that's why I buy my polishes on ebay or elsewhere.

So far, most of my nail polish collection includes the local Israeli brands such as GA-DE, Chic, Life and some nail polishes that I bought from US such as China Glaze, Nubar and a pair of Catherine Arley holographic from Bulgaria. I guess I will post some photos of my collection later on this blog, but for now you can take a peek at my current nail polish - it's a gorgeous fuchsia with some bright purple shine. I just adore it!

I'll be sure to update the blog every now and then with new swatches and new additions to the collection, some inspirations and nail art I love and inspired by <3
